We Comply with GDPR Regulations

When you first visit the site, if you are accessing the site from a country where GDPR rules apply, you will be presented with the option to proceed, opt out, or to review your options.
If you have not been presented with the option screen, clear your browser cache and reload the page, or use another device.

Our pre-GDPR Privacy Policy is still in effect.

Even prior to the GDPR, Privacy Policy laws have become very complicated over the years, and there have been many different rules imposed by various states and countries that online entities must comply with. It's a challenge for web site owners and managers, as laws can change rapidly.

We have every intention of complying with all laws that affect us, and you, and we want to hear from you if you believe we are not in compliance with a law that applies to or protects you.

How We Use Your Personally Identifiable Information

PII, as it’s referred to, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context.
When joining our directory, placing an advertisement with us, signing up for a service or joining an electronic mailing list you may be asked to enter your company, name, email address, mailing address, phone number or other details related to the transaction in question.

How We Protect Visitor Information

-
We utilize respected, industry standard security methods, including encryption, malware scanning, and certifications.
-
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
-
We implement a variety of security measures when a user places an order to maintain the safety of your personal information.
-
All monetary transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.
Use of ‘Cookies'

Cookies are nothing to fear. They won’t follow you around and force you to buy things. They will not steal from you. You ultimately have control of these small files placed on your computer's hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site's or service provider's systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information, i.e., your preferences based on previous or current site activity. We also use cookies to help us compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future.

We may also use trusted third-party services that track this information on our behalf. You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings. Each browser takes a different approach to handling this, so look at your browser's Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies.

If you disable cookies, some features may no longer have the same level of functionality, but overall, your experience with the site should be minimally impacted.

You can also delete cookies by flushing your browser cache manually or using one of many programs that will do it for you quickly and easily. You may wish to use your browser's incognito mode, which provides limited privacy, or a VPN, which will block your IP address from view.

Third-Party Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information without your express permission, and then only with our web hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating the site, in the normal conduct of our business, serving users, etc. with all parties agreeing to keep all such information confidential. We may be legally compelled to release such information to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety.

Non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
Third-Party Links

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third-party products or services on our website. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. How We Handle “Do-Not-Track” Requests

We honor do-not-track instructions and don’t track or plant cookies when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place. It’s easy to add a Do Not Track request using your browser's settings. There’s no shortage of instructions on how to do many different things with your browser – you have a high level of control – just search for what you want using “help” or query your favorite search engine.

COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act)

When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under 13, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission enforces the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children's privacy and safety online.

We do not specifically market to children under 18.

Fair Information Practices
The Fair Information Practices principles form the backbone of privacy law in the United States and the concepts they include have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the globe. Understanding the Fair Information Practice Principles and how they should be implemented is critical to comply with the various privacy laws that protect personal information.

Should a Data Breach Occur

We will notify users via email and on the web site as soon as we learn that there may be an issue. This will generally be within 1 business day, though extenuating circumstances may cause delays. We will do everything within our power to notify users as quickly as possible.

The CAN-SPAM Act is a law that sets the rules for commercial email, establishes requirements for commercial messages, gives recipients the right to have emails stopped from being sent to them, and spells out tough penalties for violations.
In accordance with CANSPAM we agree to the following:
If at any time you wish to unsubscribe from future email messages from us, you may do so through the included “unsubscribe” link in every message.
